In July 2018 our fundraiser, Susie Chassagne, took to the French Alps in a kayak to tackle some of its white water rivers in a £10,000 fundraiser for the Blackthorn Trust. When she made the decision to take on the challenge she was a complete beginner, and the next 6 months were spent with an excellent team who helped her to cram in several year’s worth of training.
We’re pleased to say that Susie’s efforts raised £11,600 for the new Blackthorn Healing Garden
Huge thanks to all who contributed to this incredible project.
