Blackthorn Trust is a charitable trust founded in 1985 as a medical charity concerned with medical care, rehabilitation and social welfare of people suffering any serious or long-term illness. It is inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner and operates Blackthorn Medical Centre and Blackthorn Garden. It is set within a medical centre, a garden and a café, where a steady stream of patients and visitors attend for either an appointment with the doctor, to purchase flowers or for a meal in the café.
