Blackthorn Healing Garden – latest update

Blackthorn Healing Garden

The Blackthorn Healing Garden is moving on in leaps and bounds! Hedges have been planted, decking has been laid, and the space is being transformed. New pathways are being created which will make access to the site easier, and before too long we will be planting up the new beds.

The fund-raising for the garden continues, Gullands Solicitors kindly donated £750.00 just before Christmas, for which we are very grateful, and more recently Palmstead Nurseries have made a donation of £1000, and they will be sending some of their staff along to help us with the planting.

Raising funds for this garden has inspired some incredibly daring acts, including abseiling and white water kayaking. This year our supporter, Michael Lawrence of Family Funeral Directors has picked up the baton, and he will be doing a wing walk on Saturday 15th June. We have sponsorship forms in our office. Please call us on 01622 828 382 if you would like to support him.
